Accreditation for the 2026 edition will open during June.
Basic Requirements for Accreditation
Continuous coverage of Brutal Assault by your media outlet.
Minimum coverage of 50% of the issued press releases. Press releases and materials can be found below. (We also send them via email. If you are not on our mailing list, please contact vojtech.sedlak@obscure.cz)
A minimum of 3 original editorial pieces must be published (e.g., "Top 10 must-see bands," etc.).
Apply only once. If there are multiple requests from the same media outlet, please use one contact person and a single contact email. Otherwise, there is a risk that both applications will be ignored.
Output Submission: Accredited media agree to provide all their festival outputs (after their own publication) to the BA team. Materials should be sent to vojtech.sedlak@obscure.cz no later than October 30th.Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee accreditation approval, as each request must first be reviewed. Meeting the outlined criteria will be an important factor in evaluating all accreditation requests for Brutal Assault and in prioritizing interviews with performing bands in our Press zone.
On-site Pick-up: If your accreditation is approved, you must print your confirmation and bring it with you along with a valid ID or passport. Festival wristbands will be issued at the Press Accreditation window (near the main entrance) upon presentation of these documents.
Please keep in mind that Brutal Assault receives a massive number of accreditation requests every year, and it is simply not possible to accommodate everyone. The same applies to photo passes – the space in the photo pits has its limits. Once we approve requests from our long-term media partners, we will begin processing all other applications.
Please note that the organizers reserve the right to reject any accreditation due to missed deadlines, failure to meet requirements, or if multiple applications are submitted without explanation. If your application is not approved for this edition, please do not hold it against us.
