Black 4-Piece update

The infamous Mayhem returns to Brutal Assault, leading a wave of black metal! Joining them are Norwegian hellraisers Tsjuder, the haunting intensity of Gaerea, and the dark force of Hellbutcher, completing this unholy lineup!

First stoner update!

After nine years, MASTODON are returning to Brutal Assault! This stoner-themed announcement also brings two UK bands: the steadfast ORANGE GOBLIN and horror folklorists GREEN LUNG. Last but not least, we welcome REZN, who are crushing mass and cosmic weightlessness with their American stoner/doom!

Thrash 4-piece update!

The legendary Overkill, thrash-mosh king Hellripper, the indomitable Protector, and old school thrash cult Dark Angel with Gene Hoglan behind the drums join the line-up!

First death metal update

We are announcing five old-school death metal bands! First up, some fantastic news: Swedish GRAVE in their original lineup will perform key songs from their first three albums. Also heading to the Fortress are Dutch ASPHYX, Spanish AVULSED, who will be playing at BA for the very first time, Canadian KATAKLYSM with a special "In The Arms Of Devastation" set, and Tasmanian PSYCROPTIC!
