XIII. STOLETÍ was founded in 1991 and is the most significant gothic rock band from the Czech Republic. Their music is deeply rooted in the original gothic wave and punk movement, blending dark, atmospheric melodies with powerful guitar-driven soundscapes. The band was formed by brothers Petr and Pavel Štěpán, who have remained its core members throughout its existence.
XIII. STOLETÍ regularly performs both in the Czech Republic and abroad, particularly in Poland, where they have a devoted fan base. Over the years, they have released numerous albums, all exclusively under WARNER MUSIC. In 2013, the band was honored with the prestigious Břitva music award and was inducted into the "Gallery of Legends."
