The duo, consisting of Tim De Gieter (Amenra) and Sigfried Burroughs (Kapitan Korsakov), completely disregards genre purity. Their sound is built on the total dominance of a down-tuned, heavily processed bass guitar and drums that pulse with the rhythm of modern nihilism. Self-labeling their style as "45", they blend the rawness of sludge with the aggressive honesty of hip-hop and the grime of 90s grunge.
