AGNOSTIC FRONT

Country: United States
Genre: HARDCORE

Pioneers without whom the East Coast would simply lack its signature sound. Formed in 1980 amid the decaying landscape of Manhattan’s Lower East Side, Agnostic Front forged the very DNA of New York Hardcore (NYHC). They injected genuine street-level aggression, metallic weight, and an unbreakable sense of brotherhood into straight-up punk rock, laying down the blueprint for generations to come.

Their seminal United Blood EP (1983) and groundbreaking debut Victim in Pain (1984) captured the raw, chaotic pulse of 80s NYC. Anthems like Gotta Go, For My Family, and the lethal Crucified from Cause for Alarm (1986) showcased a crucial crossover shift: fusing lightning-fast punk drive with thrash metal riffing. The core duo—guitarist Vinnie Stigma and formidable frontman Roger Miret—has kept this machine charging forward for over four decades without sacrificing an ounce of authenticity or street credibility.

An Agnostic Front show is a celebration of pure hardcore unity. Zero distance, endless crowd vocals, relentless stage dives, and an infectious drive that instantly engulfs the floor. When those legendary riffs echo against the historic fortress brickwork, Josefov will witness an authentic masterclass in hardcore history.
