Sustainability and Ecology are among the most important values for us at Brutal Assault, which is why we’re once again bringing you an overview of the new green initiatives we’re implementing this year:
- We’re further increasing the number of sorted waste bins both in the campsites and throughout the festival grounds – adding around 100 more than last year. This not only boosts comfort for visitors but also makes waste separation easier. The bins themselves are made from recycled plastic and designed with care.
- For the first time, reusable cups for shots will be available at alcohol stalls across the festival. This means we’re eliminating the very last single-use plastic items from Brutal Assault.
- In addition to regular waste, we’re also recycling cigarette butts. Visitors can pick up stylish coffin-shaped pocket ashtrays, and dedicated ash/filters bins will be placed around the grounds. The collected material will be turned into a special fertilizer called biochar. Vape cartridge waste will have its own dedicated disposal point at the Philip Morris booth.
- A wide variety of food will be available, including plenty of sustainable vegetarian and vegan options.
- In cooperation with the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Czech University of Life Sciences, we’ve prepared an educational eco-program you can join at their stand in the Green Meadow area.
- Our Brutal Forest project continues – a reforestation initiative near Hradec Králové, which has already resulted in the planting of over 10,000 trees. You can support the project by buying special merch or even joining the autumn planting sessions.
Thank you for helping us make Brutal Assault greener! ????
