VIO-LENCE

Země: United States
Styl: THRASH METAL

If there is a band that defines the term "mosh appeal," it is undoubtedly VIO-LENCE. While their more famous Bay Area peers often drifted towards the mainstream in the 90s, Vio-Lence remained synonymous with rawness, speed, and a punk ferocity that never went soft. Their debut Eternal Nightmare (1988) is a riff bible that every self-respecting thrasher should study religiously.

The combination of Phil Demmel’s technical guitar precision and Sean Killian’s unique, manic, almost preacher-like vocal delivery creates a toxic cocktail that acts as an instant detonator in a live setting. Expect no ballads and no pointless technical showing-off at the expense of energy. This is pure aggression, barking gang vocals, and rhythm sections that won’t let you catch your breath. Vio-Lence aren't coming to reminisce about the "good old days"; they are here to demonstrate why their brand of thrash remains one of the most dangerous in the scene.
