American musical chameleons Nevermore are back on the world stage! Since 1992, this Seattle-based outfit has built its music on a fusion of technical precision with deep melancholy and introspective lyrics, never once feeling self-indulgent. Warrel Dane’s voice could transform any song into an intense emotional statement, while Jeff Loomis crafted incredibly creative guitar riffs and solos whose complexity challenged even the most seasoned listeners. After seven studio albums and the death of their frontman, Nevermore went on hiatus, and for a long time it seemed they would never be seen live again.
That changed earlier this year, when Nevermore announced a reunion in the form of several concerts, including what promises to be an absolutely extraordinary show at the Josefov Fortress! Details about the lineup are not yet known, but it is certain that Jeff Loomis will return as the lead guitarist, supported by drummer Van Williams.
