Nadja is a duo of Aidan Baker and Leah Buckareff creating heavy atmospheric music which combines noise and electronics, ambient and shoegaze, metal and industrial sounds. Nadja has been active since 2005, touring and performing around the world, and have released numerous albums on such labels as Alien8 Recordings, Southern Lord Records, and Hydrahead Records. Their most recent release, a collaboration with the Finnish mathgrind duo Fawn Limbs, is Vestigial Spectra released in November 2023 by Wolves & Vibrancy, preceded by Labyrinthine, released in September 2022, on their own imprint, Broken Spine. Their latest album cut was released by Midira Records in September 2025. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Nadja has been based in Berlin, Germany for over a decade.
