Formed in 2015, the band took its name from the Danish word “bæst,” which means “beast” or “ferocious creature.” The group quickly built a reputation thanks to its raw, old-school death metal sound reminiscent of genre legends like Entombed, Bloodbath, and Bolt Thrower — complete with the signature buzzsaw guitars, heavy riffs, and aggressive growls.
