Founded in 1996 under the banner of SMACK, GRAND MAGUS has etched its name into the annals of metal history over its 20-year career. Emerging from the underground with their self-titled debut album "Grand Magus" in 2001, the band stirred up the Heavy-Doom Metal scene, earning a cult following. The journey, however, took an exciting turn as GRAND MAGUS infused classic Heavy Metal vibes into their inherent groove, crafting a signature sound that became evident on "Monument" (2003) and "Wolf's Return" (2005).

The turning point came with the 2008 masterpiece "Iron Will," capturing the hearts of fans and propelling the band to the forefront of the genre. Following this triumph, "Hammer Of The North" (2010) continued the momentum, leading to a chart-topping entry in Germany. Subsequent albums, including "The Hunt" (2012), "Triumph And Power" (2014), and "Sword Songs" (2016), further solidified GRAND MAGUS's place in the metal scene. 

More than two years after the release of the acclaimed "Sword Songs", GRAND MAGUS have embarked on a relentless journey to new musical horizons, giving birth to their latest opus, their ninth studio album "Wolf God". The latest release retains the groove and heaviness of its predecessors, with emotive vocals towering over the powerful instrumental lines, exuding sincerity and diversity.
