Andy the Doorbum is an American experimental folk musician and performer. His work strongly reflects the traditions of his origins in the American countryside, along with traditional rituals and a relationship with nature. He is known for combining his music with raw vocals, lights and costumes, where the voice comes from behind a mask with an original and sinister aesthetic. The entire performance creates an experience bordering on visual and theatrical performance, which has a very surreal atmosphere. In Andy the Doorbum's music, you can hear darkness and heaviness, but also hope. You can expect an extraordinary visceral exhibition of music and imagery transformed into catharsis. An immersive experience where tones and scenes alternate. Since 2005, Andy has released eight full-length albums, four EPs, several splits and singles - he has contributed to several soundtracks/music for independent films - and has appeared on albums by many other artists, such as Lankum and Ceschi. They combined their participation with joint performances with artists such as The Melvins, Emma Ruth Rundle, Napalm Death and many others.
