VILLAGERS OF IOANNINA CITY, prominent figures in the Greek heavy rock scene, hail from the mountains of Epirus. Formed in 2007, they draw inspiration from Greek nature and cosmic spirits, interspersing heavy psychedelic rock with folk instruments such as bagpipes, clarinet and flutes. Their sound, a fusion of progressive and stoner rock, creates a unique soundscape enriched with Greek-folk elements that is definitely worth listening to and being carried away by.
