TSJUDER

Country: Norway
Genre: BLACK METAL

Norwegian black metal band Tsjuder was formed in 1993 with a single, uncompromising goal: to create the rawest form of black metal and sustain this intensity for the band’s lifetime. Their first official demo tape, released in 1995, featured founding members Nag, Draugluin, and Berserk, with Nag and Draugluin remaining the band’s core composers and driving force behind its signature sound. Drummer Anti-Christian joined in 2000, briefly stepping aside in 2002 due to injury, but returned in 2003. After a hiatus in 2005, Tsjuder reemerged in 2009 with Legion Helvete, reaffirming their dedication to pure, aggressive black metal.

In 2015, Tsjuder released Antiliv and gained momentum by performing at major festivals, including Wacken Open Air and Tuska Festival. Since 2019, they’ve worked with several session drummers, and during the pandemic, they crafted Helvegr, released in 2023. Following a tour across Latin America in 2023 and performing at various European festivals in 2024, Tsjuder continues to embody the spirit of relentless black metal, standing as one of the genre’s enduring forces.
