Known for their confessional lyrics and emo-inflected sound, Australian metalcore band THE AMITY AFFLICTION debuted in 2008 with "Severed Ties" and rose to fame with their third album "Chasing Ghosts" in 2012. Subsequent albums, including "This Could Be Heartbreak" (2016) and "Everybody Loves You... Once You Leave Them" (2020) have consistently topped the Australian charts and achieved international success. With their sixth album "Misery" (2018), the band saw a conceptual shift, followed by "Everybody Loves You... Once You Leave Them" in 2020. Their fresh release "Not Without My Ghosts" in May 2023, continuing the theme of mortality.
