SNĚŤ

First time at BA

Country: Czech Republic
Genre: DEATH METAL

SNĚŤ are a five-piece band from Prague, formed in 2018. They focus on nasty, punkish, but heavy and rotten and doomy sounding death metal, which they present live with full passion and the most energy.

The Czech-singing band (band's name means Gangrene in Czech) debuted with a promo tape on Lycanthropic Chants and the South American label Burning Coffin. Even the short 6-minute length of the material was enough for SNĚŤ to catch the attention of fans all over the world and get a contract from Sweden's Blood Harvest, who released their debut album Mokvání v okovech (Wetting in Shackles), which won an Angel Award (Czech Grammy).

The debut was released not only by Blood Harvest on CD, but also as a cassette by Lycanthropic Chants and Headsplit Records for the USA. After the release SNĚŤ played festivals such as Total Death over Mexico, Killtown Death Fest, Tones of Decay and Josefstadt and toured with Father Befouled and Encoffination, then released a split with Canada's Grave Infestation on Me Saco Un Ojo on vinyl and cassettes on Filth Junkies Records.

SNĚŤ is now working on a new album and their live shows are among the rare ones.
