RIVERSIDE

Country: Poland
Genre: PROGRESSIVE ROCK / METAL

Polish progressive rock band RIVERSIDE has built a strong reputation over the last 22 years with numerous tours, more than 750 concerts worldwide and a discography that includes 8 full-length albums, 2 mini-albums and 2 live albums. In 2018, the album "Wasteland" propelled them to chart success and bigger shows, but the emergence of COVID-19 put a halt to their momentum. After a period of inactivity, the band returned to the stages in 2022, touring North America, Latin America and Europe while working diligently on a new album. The album, titled "ID.Entity", was released in early 2023 and showcased the band led by "Poland's Steven Wilson" Mariusz Duda in its dynamic and energetic form.

RIVERSIDE's music is inspired by art/prog rock titans Pink Floyd and Rush, and more recent ones include Porcupine Tree and Spock's Beard, but despite these inspirations, it has evolved towards its own distinctive and recognisable style, accompanied by bleak lyricism in which leader and singing bassist Mariusz Duda writes of loneliness, battling depression and trying to survive in an ever-changing world.

RIVERSIDE has grown over the years into a complex and professional band that leaves absolutely nothing to chance and doesn't just focus on the music itself, but also builds on precise sound and lights. Known for its charismatic concerts, hundreds of which have been played in Europe and the Americas, the band bears the hallmark of the highest quality and everything is subordinated to giving the fan everything he or she wants.
