Hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden, Monolord is a trio that has redefined doom metal with their blend of crushing heaviness and ethereal melodies. Formed in 2013, the band quickly garnered attention with their debut album Empress Rising (2014), which showcased their knack for combining fuzz-drenched riffs, hypnotic rhythms, and soaring vocals.
