LEFT TO DIE is another band that pays tribute to the immortal DEATH of Chuck Schuldiner (†2001). As with the world famous tribute band Death to All, LEFT TO DIE features former members, namely bassist Terry Butler (Obituary, ex-Massacre etc.) and Rick Rozz (ex-Massacre etc.), who have teamed up with Gruesome's founders: vocalist and guitarist Matt Harvey (Exhumed, ex-Repulsion, ex-Death DTA (live)) and drummer Gus Ríos (ex-Malevolent Creation etc.).
This scene-steeped and musically experienced quartet, however, focuses on the early DEATH era and plays the entire "Leprosy" album and songs from "Scream Bloody Gore", to which Terry Butler stated, "It's a tremendous honor to play 'Leprosy' after all these years. It's been over 30 years since Rick and I rocked these tunes together, and Matt and Gus are the perfect dudes, huge Death fans and killer musicians to join us on these trips with LTD."
