LAID TO WASTE is a Czech-American band playing traditional thrash cut with speed metal. This band was formed in 2014 in Pilsen after the breakup of Kill Kill Kill. Guitarists Skyland Kobylak (USA) and Vojtěch Černý (CZ), singer/bassist Zdeněk Šmucr (CZ) and drummer Ryan Mowbray (USA) recorded their debut album "Counterattack" in 2015, which earned recognition and led to signing a contract with Support Underground label.
After touring with Bajonet and 1000 Bombs, they released their second album "Mental Decay". Despite lineup changes and a lull in activity, the band has regained momentum in 2021 with new drummer Adam Nesvorny and is currently working on their third album, scheduled for release in late 2023 - and promises music that will get you into a brutal mosh.
