KALMAH

Country: Finland
Genre: MELODIC SWAMP METAL

Formed in 1991, KALMAH, the Finnish melodic swamp metal masters, have been a consistent force in the metal scene. Their debut album, "Swamplord" (2000), marked the beginning of a distinctive Kalmah sound—aggressive, melodic, and metallic. The release of "The Black Waltz" (2006) became a milestone, spreading the message of swamp metal worldwide. Subsequent albums like "For the Revolution" (2008) and "12 Gauge" (2010) solidified KALMAH's name among metal enthusiasts.

"Seventh Swamphony" (2013) raised the bar with its inspiration and solid arrangements, leading to extensive worldwide touring. After a five-year hiatus, "Palo" (2018) captivated fans with uncompromising swamp metal, coinciding with the band's 20th anniversary. Now, with a self-titled album, KALMAH stands stronger than ever, presenting swamp metal at its finest, signifying both an end and an unknown beginning.
