ILL NIÑO is an American Latin Metal sextet, formed in 1999 by drummer Dave Chavarri. Known for their unique fusion of heavy metal and Latin rhythms, the band has released 7 studio albums, 2 EPs, and a greatest hits compilation, selling over 2 million records worldwide.
Their debut album, "Revolution, Revolución"(2001), released under Roadrunner Records, became a genre classic. The single What Comes Around gained heavy rotation on MTV and remained in the top 20 of the Active Rock charts for weeks, even reaching the #1 spot on the Mediabase Active Rock chart. Their second album, "Confession" (2003), solidified their status, selling 40,000 copies in its first week. The lead single How Can I Live was featured on the Freddy vs. Jason movie soundtrack and broke into the mainstream Billboard rock charts.
