High Parasite introduces the world to their groundbreaking vision of ‘Death Pop’ with the debut album Forever We Burn. A fusion of haunting melodies, crushing riffs, and ethereal electronics, the album is led by the nihilistic anthem “Let It Fail.” Featuring Heather Thompson’s (Tapping The Vein) ethereal vocals, reminiscent of her collaborations with Paradise Lost, the song is a cry of despair in a world scarred beyond repair. Its accompanying video, directed by Shaun Hodson (Loki Films), adds visual intensity to the band's apocalyptic soundscape.
At the heart of High Parasite is Aaron Stainthorpe, legendary frontman of doom metal pioneers My Dying Bride. His distinctive voice is complemented by bassist/vocalist and songwriter Tombs, who co-pilots the creative direction of the band. Rounding out the ensemble are Sam Hill (rhythm guitar), Jonny Hunter (lead guitar), and Dan Brown (drums), who together breathe life into a sound both haunting and electrifying.
