HEATHEN are an American thrash band from the San Francisco Bay Area, active from 1984 to 1993 and again from 2001. Although they never achieved global commercial success, they are considered one of the leading bands of the Bay Area thrash metal scene of the mid to late 1980s, alongside Exodus, Testament, Forbidden, Death Angel and Vio-Lence. HEATHEN are currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records and are promoting their 2020 album "Empire of the Blind".
