The band has only been going by the name FAÜST since 2020, but they are no strangers to live and studio experience, having been going by CBF (Coldblooded Fish) for 5 years prior to that. 

It all started with an EP - With The Fishes, which the label Support Underground decided to release in 2016, and the band tried to play as much as possible wherever they could. In the first 3 years they thoroughly explored the corners of the Czech Republic, but also looked at Germany, Belgium, Holland, France, Poland and Slovakia. After that, there was a personnel change in the band as a singer, where Kryštof Eichler replaced Jakub Schröder, and shortly after that the album MALVARMA (2018) was released. For the next two years, the band functioned as a trio without a second guitar, which led to more energetic and faster live performances, as everyone can see for themselves from the concert recording "No Sleep 'til 007" (2020), which was released on cassette by Tapes of Terror records under the changed name FAÜST. The eponymous Faüst EP on 7" was released the same year. 

Since 2021, the band has been strengthened with a second guitar and recorded their so-called second debut album TINNITUS INQUISITION, which was released this year on the German label Witches Brew. From less than 30 minutes the listener gets a dose of thrash metal mixed with genres like punk, rock'n'roll, heavy metal, doom, grind... In short, there is something for everyone.
