EXORCIZPHOBIA

Country: Czech Republic
Genre: THRASH METAL

Thrashers EXORCIZPHOBIA have grown up over the last few years, as evidenced by this year's Anděl Award ("Czech version of Grammy) for their latest album "Spiritual Exodus".

However, Trutnov's popularity skyrocketed after the release of their album "Digitotality" (2020), when their popularity went up a lot thanks to their well played concerts. The hard-working group released the EP "Friend of Lunacy" (2021) shortly after this album. The quartet had already shown their qualities on previous releases, but only by polishing the line-up their qualities have become stronger and more prominent, so it is not surprising that Exorcizphibia has already managed to support Exodus, Voivod, D.R.I., M.O.D., Artillery and others.

It is also worth mentioning that in 2010 Tomas Skorepa (guitar & vocals), due to health problems, after one day of rehearsals, filled in for Spike Cassidy, guitarist of American crossover thrash pioneers D.R.I., at Obscene Extreme Festival, and that he was also the live guitarist of French-Canadian E-Force (Eric Forrest, ex-Voivod) and played about 80 shows with them all over Europe.

The Trutnov band definitely belongs to the top of Czech (thrash) metal.
