DISKORD is a death metal band of the unconventional kind, with a rather unique take on the genre. The band started out in 1999 and forged their own variant of death metal by including the best elements from old school, dissonant and technical death metal, and mixing this together in a way that sees them at times approach both jazz and grind. Often mentioned as reference points are trailblazing bands like AUTOPSY, DEMILICH, GORGUTS and ATHEIST. The band released their third full length album DEGENERATIONS on Transcending Obscurity Records in 2021. The album, mixed and mastered by Colin Marston (GORGUTS), has received generous critical acclaim from the international metal press.
In the summer of 2024, the band will release a split LP with their labelmates in ATVM, featuring exclusive new material–vwatch out for the preorder which goes live on April 5th,vand expect some brutal new material live at BRUTAL ASSAULT!
