DEATHSTARS is a popular Swedish industrial/goth-metal band formed in 2000 in Stockholm and known for their horror-themed lyrics, uniforms and distinctive face paint. Led by lead singer Whiplasher Bernadotte, the band achieved regional success with their 2002 debut "Synthetic Generation" and gained international recognition in 2009 with the hit "Night Electric Night". They further refined their death-glam sound on subsequent albums, including "The Perfect Cult" (2014) and "Everything Destroys You" (2023). The band has seen lineup changes over the years, but has retained its signature swagger and brooding style.
