Their debut album, *The Ultra-Violence* (1987), immediately became a cult classic of the genre, showcasing the band’s ability to craft fast, brutal, yet clearly structured songs. By combining speed, technical skill, and melodic inventiveness, Death Angel has established themselves as one of the most respected and influential names in American thrash metal, appealing to both veteran fans and new generations of listeners.
