Canadian melodic hardcore band Counterparts has carved a space in the scene with their unflinching honesty and visceral soundscapes. On their seventh album, "A Eulogy For Those Still Here", the band explores the grief and anxiety of inevitable change, capturing the raw emotions of mourning what hasn’t yet been lost. Brendan Murphy’s candid lyrics resonate deeply, offering themes of loss, love, and creativity’s relentless demands. Recorded with acclaimed producer Will Putney, this album also marks the return of founding guitarists Jesse Doreen and Alex Re, adding depth to their most collaborative and dynamic work yet.
