Humanity continues to thrive under the weight of all-encompassing technology and everyday cyber advances. BORN OF OSIRIS, in their barrage of polyrhythms, chopped riffs and synth melodies, embed this thesis quite nicely in their music, which they complement with human qualities, namely emotion, patience and perseverance.

The progressive modernists from Illinois have seven albums to their credit and in 2003, before the bands like Veil of Maya or After the Burial were born, they contributed to the technicization and progression of metalcore and its transformation into deathcore, in which they also planted an epic dimension in the form of catchy synths and advanced technical playing, in which the acclaimed guitarist Jason Richardson made his mark on the album The Discovery (2011).

BORN OF OSIRIS' latest release is the two-year-old Angel or Alien, from which standout tracks like White Nile and the title track come. But there's no stopping BORN OF OSIRIS and they present their next evolutionary step in the new single Torchbearer!
