The dark, discordant AKHLYS was created by Naas Alcameth (NIGHTBRINGER, BESTIA ARCANA) in 2009 to serve as the voice of the muse emerging from the dark landscapes between death and dreams through chilling ambient darkness. Since then, AKHLYS has been slowly re-evolving and re-emerging as a union of dark ambient and black metal, a reification of a dreamlike sojourn in the chambers of Yesod.
AKHLYS will take you to the dark corners of the swamp, where you will sink and eventually emerge into a new unique world - full of dark dreams, unseen things and black metal. It will freeze you with its darkness from which you can't get back. Expect to come out of their set possibly coming back to reality with brand new ideas that won't let you fall asleep.
