My 2 cents
Well the festival was great a always. But there were some fuckups tooBesides the obvious ones, already mentioned, here is what I didn't like
1. Wristbands. Bad quality + glam sparkles. Some people, like me, want to keep wearing them, but this year they look and feel cheap. My Wacken wristband from this year looks brand new and is comfy, while BA will hardly stay on my wrist for much longer, unfortunately. And what's up with that glam sparkles.
2. 2009 BA DVD has some shitty band instead of Cripple Bastards. How hard is it to know the bands that play at your festival? This is a disgrace.
3. I think this year's stage lighting was more “basic” then previous years.
4. The girls at the campsite bar (where they served coffe and snacks and frozen juices) was a fucking bitch who tried to cheat me 3 times!!!
Still, this remains my favorite festival. Thanks for the killer line-up, especially Bal-Sagoth!!!

Not letting in those Spanish fuckers in (bothered all the time and in the end three of them attacked me from behind. NEXT TIME FRONT AND ONE BY ONE PLEASE, YA CUNTS!!!!), the press tent should be less chaotically organized (bands doesn't appearing when the interviews are scheduled, no list checking, no reliable timetable and everyone from the staff sent me to one another with my questions about when and where…), the lights in the camping area should be definitely something desired, as well as a couple more showers and a couple less skinhead fucks in security forces. Apart from that BA still remains among my favorite festivals in Europe. As for the bands:The Crown,
Triptykon,
Sadistik Exekution (chances are 2nd to none, but still they put out a gig from time to time so maybe…),
Gehennah (Yeah! The Swedish alcoholics are back!!!),
Impaled Nazarene,
Autopsy,
Witchmaster,
Master's Hammer (yeah, I know.. Still it would be great to hear “Geniove” or “Jama Pekel” live…)
Nunslaughter,
Sathanas,
Deadly Frost,
Entombed,
Unleashed,
Intestinal,
Chaos Synopsis
That would be it, I guess…

Skinheads as a part of BA Security and big fight between...
By the way. Well, I don't now how to say that but organisation this year was fucked up, worse than last year comparing to that. I'm not saying that the whole festival sucks but for the fuck whore saint mary who let fuckin skinhead's to do the security job ?!!!!!!????. The people where threaten like a shit in general when they were landin' in the photopit however you called this area. They were very fuckin aggresive and we as metalheads don't want to see them at OUR FESTIVAL !! Btw. The first time happened by I was a witness of big fight between some people and Spanish people who were quiet aggresive durng the whole festival-get a life dudes!Saxifraga said 24/08/2010 10:38

Ad some others said, your staff should speak more English… it would be amazing if the stand owners (especially food stands) did it too, but I know you cannot tell them to learn English. And I also quote those who, like me (I was sleeping because I thought there were no interesting bands for me) lost Necrophagist performance because of lack of advertising…
And as last thing, there should be more capacity to recharge phones/cameras at the Vip Camp… when I got there they told me I should have awaited 4 hours (!) to charge my camera…

suggestions for next year
it's been my 4-th time at brutal and it was great again. some things were better some worse than previous years but there were some things that pissed me (and all peaople i discussed that with) off.1) we had to wait in line for over an hour to get the wristbands - missing the bands on warm up party… if you organise such thing bare in mind that some people actually may want to come…
2) running order changes - like many i missed necrophagist because of sudden and unadvertised change. i knw that some circumstances are beyond anybody control but do shout it loud and clear several times when changes happens…

coupons
ryanjvh, it is not really BA's fault that you don't tell the girls at the coupon-stands how many coupons you want at a time. I had no problem showing ten fingers and paying 300 CZK.@Shindy - you really, really need to put ropes and LIGHTS on the slopes.
Also, I missed the Necrophagist concert because it was rescheduled, and as others have said, that wasn't really advertised that well.
ryanjvh said 20/08/2010 03:05
And security
It seemed like amateur hour for security. During Obituary there was one kid (that was a security person somehow) that was looking down at his phone and not paying attention to people crowd surfing and it pissed me off big time. It seemed like the security staff didn't care about being there at all.And I agree with the previous comments about having people that speak some form of English as well.
ryanjvh said 20/08/2010 03:02
Ripped off on the coupons!
Before I left the train station I took out 2000 CZK and found out I had to trade them for coupons. Since that was the only single bill I had the woman quickly took it and said, “uhh 66 coupons.” And gave me 66 coupons and no money back. Being that there was a big line I didn't want to play sharades with since she barely spoke English. Now I'm back home with 15 tickets left over which is 450 CZK that I could no way refund for actual. MoneyMy suggestion would be to ask people how many coupons they would want instead of just taking whatever money they have and exchanging it all.

Food
Having the signs at the food stands translated into English would also be helpful, especially when some of the people serving can't speak English.(Thank fuck for the vegan stand bothering to translate the ‘menu’, otherwise I would have ended up living off burgers).

sound on natural stand
Generally, I think providing sound on the natural stand was a good idea, but those broken speakers totally ruined it - I preferred it without the speakers at all, like it used to be in the past years. Next year, please, do it better or don't do it at all. See you on BA2011!:)prykas said 17/08/2010 22:33

Totally agree!
I could not agree more with the last two comments. I would also like to add that waiting for taxi to go to Hradec Kralove was a bizarre experience. Taxis stopped wherever they liked and getting the taxi depended on your running speed. There was no taxi stop where people could have queued in the order of arrival. Calling the taxi numbers did not help much. We were promised a taxi within 15 minutes at least three times and it never showed up.Otherwise nice festival with a good lineup. I might drop by next year also… :D

more suggestions
Brutally agree with last described suggestions/problems and add some more3)Ticket queues should be organized with fences from day one. So no “friends of friends” would join the last 10m of queue (that from hill the queue would not resemble more like sperm cell than actual line).
4) Toilets where most time totally loaded with “ammo”- and I especially missed meeting any toilet paper rolls.
5)Immpossible to load your self phone, because queues are allready full!?
6)Old many years ignored suggestion- please put some lights and ropes on hill roads from camp to festival - impressive that visitors spines are still intact trough slippery, muddy dark nights.
