Return of Tickets

Hello,

Due to the cancelation of the Riverside Show, a couple of friend of mine want to return their ticket to the festival. Can we do that? And if so, how can we do that?? Thanks in advance!

I think they're not going to make BA this year. ;)

Internet service?

Hi~

I'm going to see 2 festivals in Europe from Taiwan, first week will be W:O:A and then the first BA in my life!! I'm really looking forward to it :D

But I wanna know if there is any internet service available there, like in W:O:A you can have unlimited wi-fi during the fest by paying 8euro.

Or, should I just buy a temporary number which would provide internet service for my cellphone when I arrive at Czech Republic?

3rd stage

Ok i understand!

So this means that might be some clashes between main stages and the club one?

Thanks¡

Growing

I hope Growing tent will return this year, it was a pity they weren't there last year.

3rd stage

the 3rd stage is going to be a “club stage” (in fact is it going to be held in a hangar with capacity fo approx. 1500 people), so mostly “smaller” bands are planned for it, but at the same point it doesnt mean that only local bands will be playing

3rd stage

Hi there! This is going to be my first BA. Really looking forward to this!

I heard about the possibillity of a third stage for the 3 days.

In case this is true, just wanted to know if this stage is going to be only for “local” bands that are pending to be announced or if theres going to be bands which have been already confirmed playing there?

Thanks¡¡¡

Cameras

well I guess this is not a surprise as ANY bigger festival has very simillar policy concerning cameras and picture/sound recording. same goes for any bigger show, no matter whether indoor or open air.

the reason is the contracts that do not allow better cameras to unathorised persons
sonicsarah sagte 03/05/2012 19:47

Cameras

Thanks for the link :) I couldn't find that. It's a shame I can't bring a better camera.. but I'm sure I can pick up some cheap one somewhere thanks again!

i've been on few other festivals and it's a rule everywhere. only people with photopasses may have camera with changable lens.

btw. check http://tinyurl.com/d47vurm [tinyurl.com] - p.3

Cameras

I dont know of any good festivals that let you take in a camera that has a changeable lens. The festival is small so you can get close to the stage and take great photos with a digital camera no problem! i have amazing photos from last year!
sonicsarah sagte 03/05/2012 00:06

Cameras

Why can't we bring an SRL camera? That's a bit ridiculous and I'm glad someone asked because that is the only camera I have. The only difference between the 2 is picture quality, so why are we not allowed to take nice photos of a great festival? Why doesn't BA allow them? How can I get permission to bring one? I think you should have a list of things that can or cannot be taken into the ground because I couldn't find anything on it. It would be appreciated.
Shindy sagte 02/05/2012 21:27

XenoBen

pocket cameras allowed

SRL cameras with changeable lens are forbidden to the regullar festival goers
XenoBen sagte 02/05/2012 14:22

camera photo

so it is forbidden to take video or audio record at the festival. but can i bring a not too good camera to take my photos with the bands etc? or it will be taken at the check?

the festival motto is “against violence and intolerance” since years. I wouldnt say this is a hippie festival but I guess noone is going to attack anyone just for being black/yellow/blue/green/whatever color of your skin. if you do not provoke anyone by behaving like an asshole, you should have no problems. I would say this applies to ANYONE, no matter what color is your skin.

Hey and I hope you have a great time at your first B.A! It really is great there. I have been now to B.A 3 years in a row, while the festival is predominantly ‘white European’ there are a number of ethnic minorities that come as well and I have never seen any racism there personally. People for the most part are very friendly (like any festival there are some idiots to be expected) and after all we are all there to enjoy great metal bands, not be interested in racial backgrounds. I'm sure your friends will have no problem at all there :)
Stormgod sagte 27/04/2012 20:53

Crowd Friendly?

Hey there. This is my first trip to Brutal Assault. I cant wait to go! its got a great line up this year.
I would like to know how friendly it is to ethnic minorities though.. I have an Asian and mixed race friend coming both really good friends and avid metal heads \m/, and i want them to enjoy themselves without any grief, its a concern i have personally and id like to know without worrying them. Please excuse my ignorance.
Cheers.

Bands

Im guessing there will be around another 12 bands to be announced? When will we know the complete line up? If i remember correctly the last band announced last year was Kreator so can we expect a bigger name to be announced last this year? Im really hoping that Watain or Dark funeral will be part of the line up!

VIP Accommodations

Hello, I need to do a reservation for the VIP accommodation for 3 tents. Can I do all the reservations by myself or need to be done by different users?? Thanks!!

Hi, I can give you some information and I hope some of the other visitors will share their experiances

1. there are enough parking places in the Josefov's streets, the thing is that places close to the festival entrance get filled very quickly so it may happen you will have to looks ofr places that are in maybe 10-15 min. walking distance from the festival entrance.

Capacities of the guarded parking were almost gone duting Thursday's forenoon last year.

2. Free parking in the streets however the guarded parking is paid, price for the whole festival was 500CZK for the whole festival. So it is not free but it is definitely cheaper than the value of a small damage your can can get.

3. The safer option is the guarded parking of course.

As far as I know some cars got robbed while parking in the streets but there were approx. 5 cases last year. Also spraying is not a big issue.

and yes we have had to disable the option to create new threats to the users as there were tens of threats in the past that made this forum a little chaotic

Parking

Hi all

Me, my brother, and a friend are flying from the UK to Prague. We are looking at options for hiring a car…. What I wondered was:

1. Is there loads of parking in Josefov? Will we find a place easily or do they get full up quickly?

The web site says: “Please use the designed parking places in the Josefov's streets or guarded parking situated close to the camp site entrance.”

What about this guarded parking? How many places are there?

2. Are either/both of these options free?

3. How safe will the car be in either of these locations? No - it's not my car…. But I wouldn't want to have to explain to the hire company anything along the lines of:

- the car is stolen/gone
- the car has been vandalised
- someone has spray painted the bonnet various band names and changed the number plate to “666”
- someone is asleep/unconscious on the back seat…. I don't know who they are, but they are refusing/incapable of moving (delete as appropriate)
- etc.

Cheers

Max

PS - is it not possible to start new threads in this forum? Must all questions be asked in this thread?

maybe it seems to be a high level math but it is not in fact. use the order form here http://tinyurl.com/78q7nb8 [tinyurl.com]
it will lead you through the entire purchasing process and you will not have to enter the total amount to transfer - it will do the math for you.

but to solve the riddle, this is the right solution:
(2x1450)+(2x67)-10=3024CZK for 2 tickets until the end of April
